Tri-State Orthodontics is open to serve you, answer questions or schedule an appointment. We are able to accommodate our patients Monday through Friday by appointment only. Call our office today. If you have to leave a message, one of our team members will return your call.
Since many of our patients are of school age, it is impossible to see all patients after school. We will make every attempt to accommodate your schedule; however, you may be required to alternate afternoon and morning appointments. Morning appointments may be required for placement or removal of braces or other lengthy procedures. Each patient’s treatment is on an individual basis. Appointments may vary from 2-10 weeks apart.
If a bracket or band breaks or becomes loose, please notify our office. Continual breakage may cause a delay in treatment time.
To obtain the best possible result, it is important to keep regular appointments. Unsupervised orthodontics may cause harm to the teeth. The patient must avoid hard or sticky foods that will cause breakage. The gums and teeth must be kept clean to avoid cavities and permanent damage. Instructions for elastics and other appliances must be followed. If not followed, all of these items can cause a delay in treatment. If cooperation does not improve, we may choose to discontinue treatment.
A cleaning is recommended and any necessary fillings must be completed before braces are placed. During treatment, it is your responsibility to keep regular 6-month checkups with your dentist.
Our office is committed to helping you make the most of your insurance coverage in order to minimize your out-of-pocket expense during orthodontic care. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to help determine the appropriate course of action. Even before treatment has initiated, we will help file your claims and work with you to make the process more manageable. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
